This is a free service that I offer my LGBTQIA+ clients who are transitioning, because I believe that all of life's milestone moments deserve a celebration. A renaming ceremony is an opportunity for you to gather with your family members and friends in order to celebrate your identity. At this ceremony, you can put your past behind you, and formally become the person that you were always meant to be.
I can create a custom renaming ceremony for you and I will incorporate the elements that you would like included in the ceremony. Many transgender people use these renaming ceremonies as an opportunity to declare their new name and also inform people of their preferred gender pronouns.
You should be proud of the person that you are, and you deserve to celebrate your identity. As an inclusive, empathetic and understanding celebrant, I would be honored to work with you in order to plan a renaming ceremony that will allow you to commemorate this pivotal moment in your life.
I work with the LGBTQIA+ community in Metro Detroit, and this free celebration package is available to people in Ortonville, Grand Blanc, Birmingham, Brighton, Chelsea, Owosso, Macomb and more.
